Skills Description:

DEFENSE

The focus will be on the skills necessary to master back row defense including defensive posture and movement, platform and overhand digging, run-throughs, and proper floor moves and emergency techniques. We will also focus on the mental aspects of being a great defensive player.

SERVING

The focus will be on the skills necessary to perfect a player's serve. The serving portion of each session will focus on mastering an overhand serve for beginners as well as advanced players who want to learn various types of serves, including a jump float and serving to specific areas of the court. Skills covered will include hand contact breakdown, body and foot position, serving zones.
