Skills Description:

PASSING

The focus will be on proper platform and footwork breakdown, teaching correct angle passing and overhand passing, movement to cover short, deep, and side to side serves.

HITTING

The focus will be on outside, middle and right side hitting. Skills covered will be proper arm swing breakdown, hitting footwork, transition footwork including some blocking technique, back row hitting, hitting after a pass and hitting in transition.

SERVING

The focus will be on the skills necessary to perfect a player's serve. The serving portion of each session will focus on mastering an overhand serve for beginners as well as advanced players who want to learn various types of serves, including a jump float and serving to specific areas of the court. Skills covered will include hand contact breakdown, body and foot position, serving zones.
